About Autoinjected: Who We Are & Our Story

About Autoinjected: we’re an online magazine for people who actually care about their cars — whether that means shopping smart for a used vehicle, keeping a daily driver running right, chasing down a classic, or just understanding what’s under the hood a little better.
We started Autoinjected because most car content online falls into one of two traps: dry manufacturer-speak that tells you nothing useful, or clickbait that tells you even less. Search “should I buy a used car” and you’ll get a wall of vague generalities, or worse, an article clearly written to sell you something. We wanted something in between — writing that respects your time, your intelligence, and your wallet.

Why We Exist

Cars are one of the biggest purchases most people ever make, and one of the most confusing. Dealerships have every incentive to push you toward the option that’s best for them, not you. Insurance policies are written in language designed to be skimmed, not understood. And the internet is full of “10 tips” listicles that could have been written by someone who has never actually owned a car.
Autoinjected exists to close that gap. We do the research, talk to mechanics, dig through manufacturer data, and cross-check claims against sources like the FTC and Carfax — so that by the time you read one of our articles, you’re not just informed, you’re equipped to make a real decision with confidence.

What You’ll Find Here

How We Work

Every article on Autoinjected is researched and fact-checked against manufacturer data, mechanic input, and trusted sources like the FTC and Carfax before it’s published. We’re not here to sell you a car or an extended warranty — our only job is to help you make smarter, safer decisions about the one you have (or the one you’re about to buy).

Who’s Behind It

Autoinjected is run by the AutoInjected Editorial Team, a group of automotive writers and researchers who’ve spent years covering the industry, from the used car lot to the racetrack. Between us, we’ve bought cars we regretted, restored cars we loved, and learned most of what we know the hard way — so you don’t have to. We drive, we wrench, and we read the fine print so our readers don’t have to.

Our Standards

Accuracy first. Every factual claim is checked against a reliable source before publishing.
No hidden agendas. Any sponsored or affiliate content is clearly labeled as such.
Plain language. If a mechanic or insurance adjuster wouldn’t say it that way out loud, we don’t write it that way either.
Continuous updates. Car models, prices, and regulations change — so do our articles, when the facts do.
